Local to North Vancouver, Connor grew up experiencing the many opportunities that this province has to offer, from skiing and hiking the local mountains to competitive sport in high school and university. In his spare time you can find Connor enjoying the outdoors by climbing in the Squamish Valley or running along the seawall.
Connor’s post-secondary school education began at the University of Alberta where he competed on the varsity wrestling team; later finishing his undergraduate degree at UBC graduating with a Bachelors of Kinesiology. He then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose California, where he was exposed to a variety of clinical settings and assisted with local sporting events in the Bay Area.
Connor strongly believes in the relationship between preventative care and physical performance, ensuring that his treatments will address each patient’s goals and needs. Freeman graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). After graduation, she worked as a Chinese medicine practitioner at the UCN Chinese Medicine Clinic Training and Research Centre under the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, where she was primarily responsible for providing clinical consultation services. Her role also included delivering traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) outreach services in hospital wards, as well as promoting TCM through public talks and website articles.
She is also the founder of the TCM educational social media platform @fmher_bal, which continues to grow steadily. In addition to her clinic work, Freeman gained valuable experience and a strong reputation through her freelance practice, particularly in managing complex and lesser-known conditions.
In 2024, Freeman successfully passed the Pan-Canadian Examinations and is now a registered Chinese medicine practitioner in both Hong Kong and British Columbia, Canada.
Freeman has experience treating pain disorders, psychiatric conditions, and neurological and neurosis-related symptoms using traditional Chinese medicine. She is passionate about providing holistic care, including dietary and lifestyle guidance, as well as supportive counselling tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

Dr. Aaron Hoy was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. For four years, he attended the Chiropractic College in Toronto; this was a pivotal time in his life in which his education primed him for a career and life in Chiropractic. It was there that he met his wife Natalie, was married in 1986, and soon after had three children Carly, Connor, and Ryder. Dr. Hoy began his practice in January of 1985 at 7th and Granville, before moving to the current location in 1997.
Dr. Hoy has had decades of experience and takes pride in the variety of patients that he has had the opportunity to treat over the years. Exposure to patients with different conditions, ages, jobs, and goals have contributed to Dr. Hoy being a complete and well-rounded practitioner. Many of his patients are high level athletes or work in the aspects of the film industry, acting, camera operators, still photography, special effects, stunt-work, and set production.
Dr. Hoy enjoys spending time with his family, riding his bike, competing in the Vancouver City Squash League, and playing golf.
